• What I mean by spirituality and how I might help you

By spirituality I mean the common human instinct to experience wonder and to search for meaning in life.  This is not the same as organised religion. 

For some spirituality either does not figure largely in their lives, or it presents no problems - being a source of joy and enlivenment.  For others spirituality can be challenging - eg when access to spiritual experience seems blocked or alternatively when spiritual experience threatens to overwhelm. 

I can offer a supportive listening presence if you are going through a spiritual process and - knowing the field well - I can make intuitive interventions or refer elsewhere as required.

• I have a current spiritual practice and outlook

I have been peer and tutor assessed as meeting the standards for Spiritual Companionship, after a course in Holistic Spirituality and Spiritual Companionship (2006-2008), tutored by William Bloom. The course is certificated by the Foundation for Holistic Spirituality (a non-profit educational organisation for spirituality, religious studies, healthcare & citizenship) and is recognised and recommended by the British Holistic Medical Association (BHMA).  

• I have good awareness & experience of the breath of human spiritual experience

My spiritual practice goes back to 1991 and encompasses many experiences, both personally, in one-to-one work, through leading workshops and through community theatre.  You can read more in the "Myself and My Orientations" page, however

•  I am most interested in you finding what works for you spiritually,

- be it creativity, relationship with nature,  citizenship,  contemplating beauty,  prayer, parenting, organised religion, gigs and concerts, or something else entirely.

I am careful to respect all paths to spiritual experience and I have no interest in converting you to or from any religious, aetheistic or agnostic beliefs.
